Pathogenic role of Mucosal Associated Invariant T cells in Rheumatoid Arthritis

With Manon LESTURGIE TALAREK

DATE & TIME : Thursday, September 24, 2026 — 4:00 PM CET

Manon Lesturgie Talarek, MD, is a physician‑scientist at Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP‑HP), specializing in clinical immunology and rheumatology. Her research focuses on the pathogenic role of Mucosal Associated Invariant T (MAIT) cells in Rheumatoid Arthritis, at the interface between innate immunity and inflammatory autoimmune diseases.

This session will examine how MAIT cells contribute to synovial inflammation and systemic immune dysregulation in RA, with emphasis on innate‑like T‑cell activation pathways, cytokine‑driven effector programs, and tissue‑resident inflammatory circuits.
