Event Overview

The PSCC Connect Lunch & Learn, organized in collaboration with FHU CARE², brings together clinicians, researchers, and translational teams to explore one of the central challenges in modern immuno‑oncology: how to enhance antitumor efficacy while mitigating immune‑related toxicities.

This session will feature a keynote presentation by Maxime Ilzkovitz, followed by a short expert briefing from François‑Xavier Danlos, who will then transition to an applied discussion on T‑cell engagers.

Keynote Speaker — Maxime Ilzkovitz, MD

Internal Medicine Specialist, Institut Jules Bordet (Brussels) Active member of BiTOX — Belgian multidisciplinary immunotoxicity board

Maxime Ilzkovitz graduated in medicine from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and is an internal medicine specialist who has spent the past three years at the Institut Jules Bordet, at the heart of immuno‑oncology care. He developed a strong interest in autoimmune diseases before focusing on the full spectrum of immune‑related adverse events (irAEs) associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors.

At Jules Bordet, his clinical and academic activity is dedicated to building and structuring a Competence Centre for Immunotoxicity Management, in close collaboration with thoracic oncologists treating patients with immunotherapy. He is an active member of BiTOX, the Belgian multidisciplinary immunotoxicity board.

He is now starting a PhD project on immune‑related adverse events, with a specific focus on cancer patients with pre‑existing dysimmune conditions.
