FHU CARE governance is based on a Management Committee, an Executive Committee and an external Scientific Advisory Board

- The WP leaders : WP1 Laurence Zitvogel, WP2 Raphaèle Seror, WP3 Aurélien Marabelle (also vice-coordinator of the project), WP4 Olivier Lambotte (also vice-coordinator of the project)
- 2 Clinicians, one representing autoimmunity/inflammation: Franck Carbonnel, one representing cancer: Benjamin Besse
- 3 Researchers, one representing autoimmunity/inflammation: Gaétane Nocturne, one representing cancer: Nathalie Chaput-Gras, one representing microbiome, Patricia Lepage
- 6 Representatives, one from Greater Paris University Hospitals - AP-HP, INSERM, Université Paris-Saclay, IGR, CEA, INRAe.
The Management Committee is responsible of:
- Strategic, financial and managerial responsibilities
- Adoption of strategic decisions
- Approval of the annual workplan presented by the Executive Committee and supervision of its implementation
- Approval of the annual reports and the evaluation at the end of its mandate
- Decision about intellectual property (IPRs) of discoveries made by the consortium
The Executive Committee is composed of:

- The 2 vice-coordinators, one for Autoimmunity / Inflammation: Olivier Lambotte, Greater Paris University Hospitals - AP-HP, one for Cancer: Aurélien Marabelle, Institut Gustave Roussy
- 4 Tasks leaders
- The Head of Clinic provided by the University Paris Saclay
- The project manager provided by Greater Paris University Hospitals - AP-HP
And its main missions are:
- Elaboration and implementation of the annual workplan approved by the Management Committee;
- Monitoring of FHU indicators;
- Annual reporting to the funding organizations.
The External Scientific Advisory Board:
- Pr Antony Rosen from J Hopkins, Baltimore, a highly recognized AID/cancer relations expert
- Pr Len Calabrese from Cleveland clinic, an immune-rheumatologist expert in IrAEs of ICI
- Pr François Ghiringhelli from Dijon University, a famous cancer specialist
- Two Representatives of the French patients associations, one for AID (AFPRIC, ANDAR or AFGS) and one for cancer (Ligue contre le cancer)
- Three Representatives of the 3 pharmaceutical industries supporting the project, 2 of them located at the site of Université Paris-Saclay (Sanofi and Servier), the 3rd one being BMS.
